Hello!I design and knit accessories in the lovely city of Bordeaux, France. Knitters: I now have PDF knitting patterns available in my shop as instant downloads. See them here. :: about :: contact :: navigate :: main index :: Pre-Raphaelites August 30, 2010Marie Linen Dress, perfect for any season
While in the midst of knitting up samples for my fall/winter collection, I've added to the shop a Marie Linen Dress in size M+, ready to ship. Timeless and seasonless, it's perfect for fall days. If you wanted a size other than M+, no worries. I'll be adding it my shop as a handmade to order listing late next month. In the meantime, the size M+ can found in my Etsy shop right here.

November 16, 2009Drapey collars and shirred sleeves......you make my heart sing. (Almost as much as peanut butter on toast, and that's a lot.)
Please, I need to wax a little poetic about the knit jersey: It's not your average tshirt style fabric. This is some very fine stuff, friends. It's the perfect weight, and drapes beautifully. Finely-knit. A deep charcoal gray that is probably my most favorite shade of gray, ever. Matte finish with the tiniest hint of sheen. Very luxe for jersey and I don't have that much which means that this tee is very limited edition. The sample in the photos? It's mine, mine, mine! That's how much I love it. For now this is an Etsy exclusive! Find it only in my Etsy shop, handmade to order in sizes XS to M.

October 30, 2009Just. Can't. Get. Enough.*Of the draped looks we're seeing all over the place this season. I swear, I lucked out with this trend because I've been inspired by this look for a while [haha! foresaw it!] so now I can really go to town with my draped pieces.
This season I'm making most of my draped looks in jersey knit fabrics. The color palette is pretty neutral, I prefer to work in neutrals at the moment because they are the most wearable and easy to mix-and-match. With the way the economy is I like to be practical: I'd rather invest in a few quality pieces with clean lines that can work with different outfits and move from one season to the other. There are more coming soon. The ones above are currently in my etsy shop - the Marianne top is very limited as there's only ONE available in that particular jersey. I'll probably make others like it in other colors, though. Maybe a print? I'll keep you posted. *You will now have Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough" running through your mind for the rest of the day.

October 2, 2009InspirationLove this painting and over the moon with this dress in my latest collection! Black linen, perfect for Indian summer and easily layered for later on in winter. Built entirely from scratch through draping; I didn't use muslin beforehand for this one because the linen is crisp enough to hold shape so I sculpted the dress right off in the linen. (I never pre-cut out shapes or use flat patterns beforehand when I do this, btw - just two big squares of fabric pinned onto the dress form and awaaaay we goooooo.) While draping I always give attention to bust, waist and hip lines to ensure that the garment hangs impeccably and fits right in all areas. Very happy with this one and it looks just as I intended, so up in the shop it goes. Go on...go look at it in my Etsy shop.
