Re"belle" with a Cause

Fancy Pants!

Something REALLY exciting is about to happen. I don't want to spill the beans yet, but it's Etsy related and I'm so excited about it I haven't been able to sleep! I'll let you know about it very soon, but in the meantime take a look at a couple of things I've recently put up. From the style and materials used, they're a clear reflection of who I am and my personality:

Not your average office shirt! This shirt is a built from scratch item - the pattern for it was flat drafted by yours truly using a bodice block of my own construction, and it was cut and sewn by me from start to finish.

This one is in my Etsy shop. Click here to purchase.

This is a cute little handbag I made based upon a pencil croquis of one of my "Rebelle with a Cause" clothing designs and textile samples inspired by New Look tailored suits and Marlon Brando's biker jacket in "The Wild One":

A big thank you to those who support my work and respect my creativity!

Re"belle" with a Cause

The post-war tailored suits of Christian Dior's "New Look" meet The Wild One and Rebel Without a Cause! Tailored suit fabrics, girly satin, vintage biker jackets and Jimmy Dean's jeans are the main inspirational elements of this collection. And the accessories? Teeny bags, clutches and hatbox purses in these mixed fabrics for a classy yet funky feel.
