Baby Cable Pom Hat (Cute!)

Remember that scarf with the pompoms that I knit a little while back?

The kind buyer who ordered it wanted a cable hat to go along with it, so I came up a variation of my cabled beanie for it. The pom is so cute. Ah. I want to hug it.

I just love that cable rib, it's so stretchy! Here's my youngest son modeling it. (If you follow me on instagram, you got a peek at this photo already.)

Pom. So. Cute. Can't. Staaaand. It.

New colors:

(I love the smell of new yarn in the morning.)

I've just received four new colors in my favorite mer-i-noooo! Beige (a shade darker than stone), woodland (a heather brown), blue and purple. Now any of my creations made of this fiber can be ordered in any of these colors. Yay.

New colors, new fiber:

The Chunky Beanie, a longtime favorite in my shop and a timeless classic, now comes in a 50% superfine alpaca/50% highland wool in three fantastic neutrals!

I cannot sing enough praises about the luxuriousness of this all natural fiber: It's soft, warm, lightweight, durable and kind to sensitive skin. No scratchy knits here, ever.

Available in my shop this season for sizes 55 cm (21 5/8") to 58 cm (22 7/8"), and colors camel brown, anthracite gray and ink black.

We Like Chunky.

I'm having so much fun knitting up these little circle scarves. The yarn is really cool: It's not spun, but is a tube made up of rows of knit stitches. When knit up it creates a wonderful texture.

Right now I have just one each in the lilac shown above, blue and green. One more is coming in gray. And I think that will be about it!

New Design:

The PomPom Lace Slouch is brand new this fall! Vintage inspired and romantic, this hat is made of the beautifully polished, high end merino wool spun in Italy that I have grown to love. The lace stitch makes it versatile so it works for any season. Currently available in my shop in stone (pictured), cream, gray, red, chocolate, charcoal, black and (very soon) metal gray.

Sneak Peek at a Work in Progress:

I'm currently working on an updated version of the Boyfriend Beanie below:

It will be available in charcoal black (shown above in the work in progress photo), stone, cream, sunflower yellow, dark gray, heather gray and red. Bonus: I will also be making the PDF knitting pattern for this hat available in my shop. All coming very soon!

How about...

...a loose braids cowl in an fabulously subtle eggplant color? It's not too bright and is opaque enough to go with just about anything. Make it your new black or gray :)

Currently available in my Etsy shop in the color pictured above or in cream.

P.S. If you're a knitter, I also have this knitting pattern available as an instant download in my shop.
