In a narrow street in Blois.

Blois, nestled in the Loire Valley, is one of my favorite places to spend my summer vacation. The history, architecture and art never fail to inspire me and everywhere I look I find something that I want to document with my camera. After my stays there I always return home with all creative batteries recharged and my inspiration workbook full of ideas. Indeed, one of the times that I visited was such a creative catalyst for me that I made the decision to apply to fashion school to study a degree program in both design and tailoring, and started that school year.

Fact: While on my honeymoon I stood in line for over an hour at the Uffizi in Florence just to slap my eyes on Sandro Botticelli's Birth of Venus in person, because it really isn't the same if you just see it in a book.

Super Long Hybrid Scarf - Organic Cotton

A super long skinny scarf hand-knit using two different colors of certified organic cotton and teeny bamboo needles. This is one of two scarves that I knit gradually over the past few months (see the other scarf here), and I think it makes for a perfect accessory for all seasons.
