Welcome! I'm happy you're here.I am an independent fashion designer based in France and I make built-from-scratch clothing, bags and accessories in very limited editions. I am inspired daily and I create new designs every season. Right now my collection is focused around hand-knit accessories to keep you warm and toasty through the cold days of winter. :: collections :: about :: contact :: navigate :: main index :: « TortillaGirl Bag in Action | Main | Lena Corwin's Wedding » Lara à Broadway
I was looking through my magazine tear outs and found a few of pages from my February issue of French Vogue (894) of the spread called "Lara à Broadway" with photographs by Inez Van Lambsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, styling by Carine Roitfeld. I always tear out the pages that I find most striking and what I love the most about these photos is the Jean Harlow look saucily portrayed by Lara Stone and the fantastic styling with clothing by my faves: Nicolas Ghesquière, Jean Paul Gaultier and Alexander McQueen, among others. Trashy vaudeville (big in spring 2009) and rock 'n' roll meets 40s glamour. I think it's awesome that in today's fashion mixing contrast styles, colors and textures is not a faux pas, but almost a must do.
